This is a fictional battle which takes place in the mountains north of Florence in the winter of 1945. The US is trying to push the Germans farther north. They have been engaging in a series of battles all winter. The Germans have been tenacious and continue to hold out, even pushing back occasionally. Ahead lies the town of DiSaronno, thought to be lightly defended. It is the dead of winter with long nights and cold weather.

Germans outnumbered
Very tough extended battle over challenging terrain and weather conditions. Multiple objectives and flexible forces made for a great fight.
The near dark environment adds difficulty and challenge to this battle. And then the snow can also immobilise you. Good stuff!
Excellent scenario! Time is tight, so the Allied player must move quickly. Bitter fighting until the very end.
