A challenging scenario for both sides. While the Italian player has the advantages of light armour, more light artillery and greater numbers, the US player has higher quality troops and a good defensive position on top of a hill. A fair amount hinges on the attrition battle and how soon Italian armour is knocked out or how soon the US guns and 0.50 can be neutralized or knocked out.
The first half of this battle was very fluid, challenging, and fun. It was a bloodbath though for both sides, and ended in a draw with a contested objective.
