Very entertaining small scenario - a confused nighttime infiltration into a densely packed hilltop village. Hard for either side to know where the enemy is, if everyone is being careful. I blundered into a couple of costly ambushes before I learned to be as sneaky as the situation required...
The Luftwaffe troops are not up to par with the American troops and could use a little more ammo. They are outnumbered by the Yanks, as well These deficiencies are offset by the fact that in order to win big, the Americans are forced to search house to house for the Germans.
not a H2H scenario
A neat challenge with night fighting in a built up area as US forces attack a much smaller German force. However, the scoring makes it impossible for the German player to win and the US player must wipe out every last enemy to achieve more than a minor victory. If the town was split into 4 objective areas and German VPs were all for inflicting damage, it would be much more enjoyable and balanced.
