In August 1944 the elite Grossdeutschland division moved to the Baltic states where it began a series of defensive battles. In late October, the division failed to stop Bagramyan's 1st Baltic Front, and when the division pulled back in the fact of 5th Guards Tank Army, only a small band tank hunters were available to provide a rear guard for the withdrawal.

This scenario needs to be adjusted with heavier foliage / better cover for the Germans, and perhaps another Panzerschrek team. In its current form it is next to impossible for the German player unless the Russian player ignores caution altogether.

Don't know if this works as H2H. Germans have a tough fight to win this.

Not meant for H2H as it would be boring.


Poor design. Mismatched, tiny forces. Uninteresting tactical situation. And one of my Soviet tanks actually began the scenario in a position from which it was never able to move, because of blocking terrain (I don't intend to play this again to find out whether that particular flaw recurs every time).

Not well balanced. Only thing the Germans have that can really do anything is one panzerschreck team. If you lose them, or they're out of position, it's game over.

Absolutely not interesting and boring scenario.

this scenario can only be played as single player!!!! any other way is a waste of time
