"On the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC, an Athenian-led Greek coalition revolted against Makedonian dominance. However, some Greeks remained well-disposed toward the Makedonians, including the Boiotians who had received Theban lands after Alexander destroyed the city in 335 BC. The Athenians, under Leosthenes, defeated the Boiotians at Plataea. This battle was the start of the Lamian War fought by the Athenians and their Greek - Aetolian, Lokrian, and Phokian - allies against the Makedonians in Thessaly during the winter of 323-322 BC. Leosthenes' army consisted of 8,000 veteran Greek mercenaries and 7,000 Aetolians, reinforced by 5,000 Athenian infantry, 500 cavalry and 2,000 mercenaries although, according to Diadorus Siculus, Leosthenes led only part of his entire force into Boiotia. The size of the Boiotian army (which uses the Makedonian army mix) is unknown, so I've made it of equal victory point value to the Athenian/Greek army. (15 turns, 10,000pts a side)"
