One of the best \"convoy\" scenarios I have played.
A rather silly little ambush encounter. Better played as a solo game than PBEM. But to the designer's credit, the scenario notes did suggest that.
As the Viet Minh you need to use your initial units to block the road. I figured this out after the fact. You will receive a lot of reinforcements but unless you sacrifice your initial units and stop the French they will escape and it will be too late for your reinforcements to do any damage.
Agree with Joe, you need to stop the French motoring away. If that doesn't happen it turns into a pleasant arvo picnic drive, with Champers and crepes suzettes. As Steve said bit silly. If the Viet reinforcements started closer to the road, might be different.
