Confusing - in assymetrical warfare it's not quality nor numbers that have to make the difference. The paras possibly cannot be any faster in reaching their objectives, overpowering the screening and opposition on their way - then it's just pure luck whether the wretched Viet Minh remnants and stagglers prevail or not.
Only Pro Viet-Minh because of the time factor. French forces are totally overwhelming in terms of quality, numbers and weaponry. Not much of great interest for the commie player to do - but a good scenario as VM if you cannot spend much time for SqB turns!
