If French are aggressive, they should be able to win. As the VIET player, I was worried about a strong push by the French, which would have collapsed my lines.
The French deliver mobility and firepower, at least the tanks are able to penetrate fast and deep, but the Viet Minh are dug in, well positioned and moreover deterined to half the French advance.
