Special Rules: Subtract -25 points for each Recon or SEAL team not extracted before end of scn. Heuy's may not land in jungle. Dedicated to Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Petty Officer Michael L. LaPorte who was assigned to 1st Force Recon Company, 1st Recon Battalion, 1st Marine Division at Da Nang, South Vietnam. (NOTE: Some lists have LaPorte incorrectly listed as an E2, also rumor has him listed as a SEAL but the DoN has not substantiated that.) On September 3, 1967, LaPorte was assigned as the team corpsman of a nine-man reconnaissance patrol that was inserted by parachute into Happy Valley, Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. The mission is unkown but numerous missions were carried out by RECON units to find supply and HQ depots as well as rocket sites that were bombing the area north of Saigon. Your mission is to find the 2 rocket sites and distory them along with the NVA HQ. you must extract before end of scn... see special rules.
