Hill 875 was the scene of a violent battle between 173rd Airborn Reg supported by the 4th ID and a combine MFVC Infantry Reg Supported by NVA regulars and rocket brigades. The US had discovered and attacked the VC as they were in their staging for the 1968 Tet Offensive. Also on the line was the SF Camp less than 7K's away, Ben Het.

A tough one for both sides... focus on the SF base it is the key.

Though the VC usually lose this one according to the ladder, it seems to lean a bit the other way to me - kind of hard to tell, what with all the U.S. choppers flying around. My victory came mainly as a result of attrition - score was about -1,150 points on turn 22, when Bill resigned. Still, it's a fun scenario, and the U.S. can certainly dish out the damage when he wants. The American also has terrific mobility. I Love the map as well.
Thus, what is of supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy's strategy.
