Units of the 5th Marine Div were sent in to Nui Dang area to relieve units of the 2nd and 4th ARVN Divions. There mission was to helicopter in and perform a 3K search and destroy of enemy forces in the area. They were to focus on the VC held villages of Dong Quang, Thuy Treu, Sa Binh, Tan Tu, Truong Sanh, and Hai Mon. During the mission heavy enemy resistance was encountered with M Co 3/5th taking the brunt of the action near the villages of Thruong Sanh and Tan Tu. In 4 days of fighting over 300 dead NVA were found from 4 different local force battalions, 2 MF battalions, and the 22nd MF NVA Reg.

Good seek and destroy mission as U.S
The US has their work cut out with civilians getting in the way. No real continuous line but battles consist of local fire team combat. Scenario favors the NVA on defense but US has abundant fire power. Scenario may need a little work to balance.
