Shuravlivny Woods, North of Belgorod: July 6th, 1943. (Scenario Size: Regiment. German Human vs Soviet AI) Major Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Chistyakov's 155th Guards Rifle Regiment was cut off from the rest of 52nd Guards Rifle Division. II SS Panzer Korp had roughly pushed the Guardsmen aside leaving each Regiment to fend for itself. Shuarlivny Woods had been the base for much of the Soviet forward artillery. It was fire from here that had made the initial assaults on July 5th for the SS so costly. The German breakthrough had forced the pull out of the Russian heavy guns, but the remnants of the 155th were ordered to hold these defensive positions at whatever cost. On the morning of July 6th, the task fell on SS-Obersturmbannführer Otto Baum's Totenkopf Regiment to clear the Soviet resistance.
It being totally pro Germany is natural considering the situation the Soviets are in. I can't recommend playing this scenario for an official ladder game, but it's still enjoyable if the Soviet player tries some different defensive strategies.
A major victory is very difficult to achieve, however.
