Wonju area, South Korea, June 21st 1985 [D+6]: By utilizing MSR5, south of the Chorwon Valley approach, the North Koreans have now advanced to the north of Wonju. This area is vital for ROK forces in that it anchors the front line in the east and west thereby allowing an effective allied counter attack to take place towards Seoul. ROK forces have dug in to check the advance, however, the NKPA 425th Mech Corps is attempting to smash through South Korea's attempt to hold the line. [Size: medium]
