Sokch'o area, June 29th 1985 [D+14]: Just as the allied counter offensive began on the 29th of June, the North Koreans in the Sockh'o sector were planning to launch an offensive of their own. With the arrival of the NKPA 108th Mech Corps, North Korea launched a counter offensive towards Yangyang with the intent of breaking through and continuing the advance along the eastern coast. Recognizing this, the US 172nd Light Infantry Brigade charged into action to stop the advance and attack north to liberate the port city of Sokch'o. [Size: medium]

Both sides start is relatively poor shape. I could have used my better quality South Korean units more effectively instead of relying almost solely on the Light Brigade.
