Iron Triangle, July 13th 1985 [D+28]: While the fighting raged to the east around Kaeson and
Sanyong-ni, the Chinese 64th Army was advancing in Kumwha area. This region was formerly
known as part of the "Iron Triangle" in the first Korean War and again saw epic battles of the
second. Now battle tested ROK and US forces stand fast and attempted to hold the overwhealming
mechanzied and motorized elements of the Chinese Army intending to breakthrough and continue
their push south into South Korea. [Size: medium] Designer's notes: The Chinese infantry are some
what of a unique unit compared to anything represented thus far in the Modern Campaigns series.
They are relatively weak defensively and can suffer large numbers of casualties when used
improperly but they can be a unstoppable juggernaut on the assault. They are also extremely mobile
for foot infantry.
