Near Stuttgart, June 16th 1985: What if the WP attack in Southern Germany had been a limited success? "If" that had been the case, units of the 1st CSLA were sprinting towards the Neckar River to try to capture the bridges at Heilbron and south west to Stuttgart. There were few NATO units in their path and, they 'believed', nothing on their flanks. NATO were swiftly trying to organize resistance to this headlong dash towards the Neckar. [Size, mediuml] Designer Note: This scenario has been optimized for WP Human vs. NATO Human. In this scenario there are 5 Operations from which NATO has to choose. Each one varies from the others, and each has a different number of units and make up of NATO allies. Remember most of the NATO units can be broken down into company size.

Tough for Nato to stop an aggressive move by the WP.
A variety of forces available: Germans, French, Canadians and Yankees. I liked the strategic options for the selection and deployment of the NATO reinforcements, the airmobile coy being a nice cherry on top of the cake.
Warsaw Pact must guard his flanks as he races toward the NATO Neckar River positions. A Warsaw Pact Minor or Major Victory is possible with securing only two victory hexes provided NATO blocking forces are encircled and annihilated as they are located. Good replay value since NATO may choose from five operations that have different numbers of units and Allies. Between equal skilled players, the Warsaw Pact enjoys a slight advantage. Fun and exciting Danube Front '85 scenario!

Easy for the WP to win even if the VP hexes do not guarantee a major victory.
