Late August 218BC *Historical* After landing at Massilia, Consul P.Scipio sent a cavalry detachment to go find Hannibal and his army. The detachment ran into some Numidians scouting for Hannibal in search of the Romans. In this encounter the Roman cavalry got the best of the nimble light horsemen of North Africa.
