In 208 BCE, Scipio planned to fight one of the three Carthaginian armies. Hasdrubal Barca, who was planning to take his army to Italy and reinforce Hannibal, appears also to have sought a battle with the Romans. The two forces met near Baecula, west of New Carthage. Hasdrubal set up his camp in a strong position on top of a hill with his flanks and rear protected by terrain. Worried that he may have been waiting for one the other Carthaginian armies to appear, Scipio could not take that chance and ordered an attack.

Very good scenario for PBEM. The Roman Army is strong, but the Carts have the advantage of terrain. Really enjoyed it.
