Allied air power sucks when you are playing the german side 8)

We had to give up but I think I would have had a major in time.

Playing it now on turn 80 against a good Allied attacking player. Germans need a better reinforcement schedule. The 20% often means waiting for 2 days to get a scheduled reinforcement. 30% or 35% would allow the Germans to form up in some sort of coherent manner.
