January 29th, 1943. Operation Gallop calls for the Southwestern Front to capture the bridges over the Dnepr, thus cutting off the entire 1st and 4th Panzerarmies, thereby amputating the entire southern wing of the German Army. This scenario covers the first 4 days of Operation Gallop and the beginning of Popov's Tank Raid. Please use the following rules: artillery setup, recon, night fatigue, virtual supply trucks, programmed weather, and no locking ZOC (essential). This scenario uses a variation of the FSR OOB and PDT file. The speed of all units is increased by 33% and the number of turns per day is decreases by 33%. Marquo
