0125_04: 53rd Army_Alt - PzC 06 Korsun '44

The east flank of the Korsun Salient, 120kms SE Kiev, January 25th 1944: The 53rd Army sector was the area where the greatest gains were made in the early phase of the battle. The Red Army captured Ositnyazhka, Reymentarovka and Pisarevka on the first day when the 5th Guards Tank Army was committed to the line.
