North Africa, January 2nd 1941: In the last weeks of 1940, the Italians had began pulling back from the frontier. They fell back to the fortresses of Tobruk and Bardia. Just as the Australian 6th Infantry Division began arriving to the front they were deployed around Bardia and beseiged the fortress. As the Australians prepared for their first combat in World War II, 20,000 Italian troops made final preperations to hold Bardia at all costs. [Size, small] *Historical Note: The assault on Bardia was to be the hardest fought battle of the campaign with the Australians suffering over 500 casualties. Designer's Notes: Intended for PBEM or human allied vs. AI axis. Explicit Supply is possible.
