The Battle of Boulogne-sur-Mer, 23 May 1940: On May 20th 2. Panzer-Division captured
Abbeville and Saint-Valery and the Allied armies were cut in two. After a day of rest the division
turned north toward the vital port town of Boulogne-sur-Mer. As the Panzers rushed forward,
Général de brigade Pierre Lanquetot took charge of a chaotic situation and organized the defense of
Boulogne. His own 21e division d'infanterie could not arrive in force due to a shortage of rail
transport and the sudden northward surge of 1. Panzer-Divison. The only French elements available
were some Series C reservists, a few anti-aircraft batteries, and the naval garrison. To this were
added some Belgian training and replacement battalions cut off on their way to the interior of
France, a collection of untrained British Auxiliary Military Pioneers, and Brigadier Fox-Pitts
recently arrived 20th Guards Brigade. Lanquetot and his men were prepared to fight to the last, but
their Belgian allies had little will to die in France and the British looked toward the sea...[Size:

Allied needs to protect the guns early.
This scenario is probably best suited for Axis vs the AI.
