Klin, 75kms NW of Moscow, Nov 20th 1941: The 7th Panzer Division reached the road to Klin but could not press on without support. Then the 14th Motorized Infantry Division made contact with both the 6th and 7th Pz Divs. This completed the mechanized units of the LVI Pz Korps and they proceeded to advance on Klin and the Moskva-Volga canal. The 16th Soviet Army, under the command of Lt Gen Rokossovsky, fought a delaying battle to the east, mining much of the territory they gave up. Rokossovsky personally took charge of the defense of Klin. [Size, medium] Designer Note: This scenario is Best played Head-to-Head.

An evem match - first jerries go on rampage and have a field day organizing their usual overkill the blitzkrieg style, but then Rkossovsky saves the day in Klin and destroys them in the strategic depth.

Interesting scenario. Klin is untenable to the Russians, but further east a line of defense can be formed and the enemy can be stopped. Russian tanks are pretty good - not only do they shoot well, they are very mobile. The German tanks were definitely inferior to the Russian ones.

The problem revolves around the Soviet Units that are almost all fixed in position and separated from any support.

A skilled German player, aware of where those units are can surround them prior to contact and they destroy them in detail.
