Bobruysk, 100kms SE of Minsk, June 24th 1944: The assault on the vital town of Bobruysk came about a day later than the initial attack in the north. Marshall Rokossovskiy had come to the conclusion that the attack had to be mounted in the form of a pincer movement, with two Armies and a Tank Corps for each jaw. Stalin had not been too pleased with the plan, but the Marshall had "stuck to his guns" under intense pressure from the Soviet dictator and the Stavka. One pincer was to move towards Bobruysk from the area of Rogachev in the east, the other, through the swampy terrain, in the south. Fun game, but, IMHO, totally pro-Soviet. Brammer has much more experience than myself, and I made many blunders, yet was able to win handily. I offered Brammer to flip sides, but he was too busy. Still, I enjoyed the game very much, and would recommend it.

Fun game. Brammer and I have played it mirrored; both times resulted in a Soviet Minor Victory. After the second playing (as the German), I think that the German capabilities can be used to much greater effect the German than I was able to accomplish. I recommend it!
Dog Soldier
Germans can only play for time. 20th Pz runs like a fire brigade from crisis to crisis point.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

Many different ways to approach this one. The defending German player has a chance to do some attacking.

This scenario has a little bit of everything. Russia has a cross-river and a more conventional attack. Germany has some opportunities for counter-attack with his reserve divisions. Good scenario.

Mud and soft conditions make attacking difficult
