Operation Suitcase, 20 October 1944: Outmanned and outgunned, the 346. Infanterie-Division
alone could not halt the Allied offensive. However, reinforcements from 245. I.D. and two
Sturmgeschütz brigades were on their way. Operation Suitcase would not yield a decisive
breakthrough into North Brabant easily - Allied progress would be slowed by a series of vicious
counterattacks...
[Size:Medium Small]
Design Notes: The 346. I.D. is incredibly outmatched and could be annihilated quickly. The
German player should preserve as much of his force as possible and slow the Allied advance until
reinforcements arrive.
Though many of its frontline battalions will be spotted and released on the first day, for the sake of
historic authenticity the Allied player is encouraged to withhold the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division
from combat until October 22nd.
The victory conditions are intentionally very steep. The objective hexes do not provide enough
points for the Allied player to gain a major victory. He must inflict terrible losses to the Germans
while minimizing his own casualties.

It is Pro Allies regarding the balance, but this is a historical situation where the Allies are smashing through the German positions. Nevertheless, it is entertaining scenario!
