Scenario Briefing: Preceding the large-scale attack out of the Liutezh bridgehead would be a pinning attack by the forces to the south of Kiev in the Bukrin and Shchuchinka bridgeheads. This six-day scenario deals with the efforts of the Russians to pin the German forces in place. Historically, that mission failed. The Germans were able to pull the SS Panzer Division "Das Reich" out of the line.
