Intended for Head to Head play
Scenario Briefing: This scenario covers the breakout of the Liutezh bridgehead up to November 11th when most of the pursuit period had been exhausted and the Russians went over to the defensive. The Allied player will be hard-pressed to repeat the historical performance of the Russian army.
The Axis player is going to have to be careful that they do not lose a lot of units during the breakout period. Most of the fighting to the west will be along the road net. The Russian army is massive but the infantry is slow so the mechanized and cavalry forces have to be careful that they do not get out in front of the army where they can be cut off and eliminated as happened in some cases historically.
