Scenario Briefing: For the later offensive period in November, the Germans had shifted their point of attack on Brusilov from the south to the west. After having split the seam of the Russian line between Zhitomir and Brusilov, they redeployed the 1st, 19th and SS LSAAH Panzer Divisions to attack up the Kiev road to envelop the town from the west while the 25th Panzer Division attacked Fastov from the south. The goal was to bag as much of the 38th Army as possible.
