Scenario Briefing: The struggle to take Breakneck Ridge had stalled and the US 24th Infantry Division had become worn down by the fighting. The 32nd Infantry Division was brought into relieve it and resume the attack which they did on November 16th with the 128th Regimental Combat Team (RCT) advancing through the lines of the 21st RCT and renewing the fight. The fighting lasted for four hard days before the 128th had finally cleared the Japanese 57th Infantry Regiment from the ridge and taken Limon.
For the defenders of Kilay Ridge they had finally been relieved. The 32nd Infantry Division would continue the fighting later in the month to link up with the XXIV Corps advancing from the south.
