Scenario Briefing: The advance by the US 43rd Infantry Division had stalled so the 63rd RCT from the 6th Infantry Division was attached to them so that they could continue their advance. Meanwhile, the 6th Infantry Division would strike at the Caburan Hills with the 20th RCT while the 1st RCT attempted to cut Route 3.
The Japanese 2nd Tank Division, which had been advancing up Route 3 from Manila was now within range but they were cut off from 23rd Division and would have to take a circuitous route to join their division.
Note: All of the US capital ships may be withdrawn during the scenario. All of the ships have a 3% percentage that this will happen except for HMAS Australia which has a 7% chance of being removed due to earlier damage from Kamikaze strikes.
This scenario uses timed victory objectives. Be sure to check the Objective Dialog during play to find out when each of these expires.
Recommended Rules: [Default]
Alternative Assault Resolution, Artillery Set Up, Recon Spotting, Virtual Supply Trucks, Low Visibility Air Effects, Quality Fatigue Modifier, Counterbattery Fire, Night Fatigue, Programmed Weather, Limited Air Recon.
