Scenario Briefing: This is the early period of the Battle of Manila where the Allies encircled the Filipino capital and began to make initial assaults against the Genko Line on the outskirts of the city. The Allied units have been reduced to take into account losses suffered in the earlier actions in the campaign.
The Japanese eventually withdrew from the northern side of the city to the south side of the Pasig River destroying the bridges as they went.
