Intended for Solo Play as Allies vs. AI
Scenario Briefing: The southern end of the Cagayan Valley had several airfields that were important to the Allies for the use in staging US air groups for subsequent invasion of Japan. The US 37th Division was ordered to capture these airfields and eliminate all enemy resistance in the area.
The 145th and 148th RCTs would be facing rear area forces that had been hastily raised in April and May. These forces were more prone to retreat up into the hills than to put up a fight. The advance went well and the airfields were taken as well as the town of Naguillian following a hasty river crossing operation.
Recommended Rules: [Default]
Alternative Assault Resolution, Artillery Set Up, Recon Spotting, Virtual Supply Trucks, Low Visibility Air Effects, Quality Fatigue Modifier, Counterbattery Fire, Night Fatigue, Programmed Weather, Limited Air Recon.
