Scenario Briefing: The 3rd Cavalry Division with the help of the strong 25th Infantry Regiment (25th Hungarian Division) finally captured the fortified farmhouse on Agoston Hill, forcing a short retreat of the Soviets toward Enying. The 1st Cavalry Corps Commander (Harteneck) ordered to advance to cut the road between Enying and Mezökomárom, secure a place for a bridge across to the east bank of the river and advance towards Mezökomárom and envelop Enying from the west. To this end, the 3rd Cavalry Division launched a night attack attempting to dislodge the Soviet defenders.
