Date: March 11, 1945 - Size: Small - Location: 55 km SW of Budapest.
Intended for Head to Head play.
Scenario Briefing: The Soviet 68th Rifle Guards Division under Major General Nekrasov recaptured Csillag Hill on the night of March 10. The 2nd SS-Panzer Division of SS-Gruppenführer Werner Ostendorff then planned an armored assault to regain the height the next day. For this purpose the division gathered all its available armor, the half-track battalion (III./PanzerGrenadier Regiment.4) and the tracked elements of the Anti-Air battalion into a single armored fist. The Soviets did not stand idly by and moved the 9th Guards Tank Brigade and other elements of the 1st Guards Mechanized Corps to the front to stop them.|This would be the final assault for control of Csillag Hill which would remain in German hands until they withdrew under the imminent threat of the Vienna Offensive.
