Scenario Size: Large\Estimated Playing Time: 3+ Hours\2 Player Game?: Yes\AI Play?: Play as Spanish Blue Only\\Dubrowka, Russia 29 October 1941\\Designers Notes:\This version uses a larger map than the original Dubrowka Barracks scenario. It still uses boards 5 and 6, but adds 10 and 16 to the west to compensate for the amount of units involved in this fight.\\Also, this scenario is HARD on the Spanish in the way of casualties. Point totals have been adjusted to compensate for high Spanish losses, so the Blue Division players only hope relies on a relentless drive on the objectives.\\Scenario Description:\Following the success of the Woljov crossing, the Spanish volunteer Division Azul (250.Infanterie Division) expanded their bridgehead and awaited further instruction from the German XVI Armee. Once recieving their orders, the formation continued to advance in the direction of the Soviet garrison at Dubrowka.\\Resistance along the eastern bank of the Woljov proved token as the series of villages along the route of advance began falling with minimal Spanish effort, but this would soon come to a abrupt end.\\Approaching the village of Dubrowka with a sense of machismo, the "Tia Bernarda" Batallons' (Division Reserve and Special Task unit) recon elements soon reported that the village and it's surroundings were a bulwark of Russian defensive positions, manned by motivated and determined Soviet troops.\\As fate would have it for the young Spaniards, the Chief of Staff for the XVI Armee was close by in Spolje, monitoring the Division's progress.\\In a show of bravado to impress Oberkommando, the "Tia Bernarda" was ordered to attack and seize Dubrowka Barracks at all costs.
