With Antwerp in German Control and the Western Allies seeking a seperate cease fire the war in the East changed course. The Axis were able to hold onto Hungary, Romania and the western half of Poland. Stalin sent everything he had into East Prussia during December of 1945, hoping that Father Winter would fight for the Soviets as he has many times before. But with the increased production of tank destroyers and AT guns now a German manufacturing priority the mighty Soviet juggernaut faced a prepared German defense.
