[Hango, South coast of Finland, 120 km West of Helsinki]: [H2H] [WIF] [CSL]
As the last units of German 122.D were finishing their one month long stint at Karelian Isthmus, readying to be shipped back to Narva front, they reserve new orders. The news of the secret Finnish armistice negotiations with Soviets have angered The Fuhrer, and Hango port must now be secured and reinforced for a German push towards Helsinki, to keep Finland at war.
As Finnish radio intelligence keeps keen ears over the deteriorating situation, they learn the rough seas have forced most of the German ships to remain anchored at Estonia, at least for now. Securing the Hango port against German reinforcements is essential to keep the country out from a war with two fronts.
The only units available to the task are the 2nd tank battalion of Tank Bde, who together with Jgr Bde's Replacement Bn were near by, getting used to their new gear, freshly arrived from: Germany.
Orders are plain and simple for both parties: secure the Hango port using any means available. Battle for Hango is on!
