The Soviet summer offensive has run its course and the spearheads of the Russian armies are reaching the Baltic coast and the East Prussian border. The Russian 16 Mech Corps has been strung out on various roads and German scouts have spotted an open flank into which the King Tiger tanks of SchwPzAbt 509 launch their attack, with I. Btn Inf Regt. 611, SP arty and a few Luftwaffe sorties in support. Their orders are to surprise the Russian units and cut the main road. Chaos ensues when the first giant Tigers open up on the roadbound Russian units... the wounded tiger is striking back.
