Tolstoye Woods, 45 km NW of Belgorod: [Best played as Axis] Along the 4th Panzer Army's route to Oboyan in the Kursk Offensive lay the rough, wooded region dominated by the Tolstoye Woods. These woods were heavily fortified and held by elements of the 219th Rifle Division and the 6th and 10th Tank Corps. General Hoth sent the 3rd Panzer Division, with help from the 332nd Infantry Division, panzer elements from Panzer Grenadier Division "Grossdeutschland," and over 100 Stukas to clear the woods and get the advance toward Kursk moving again. They didn't count on a counterattack from the 3rd Mech Corps to reinforce the woods.

Low supply levels render artillery useless. Most units are low on ammo every turn. No commanders. Small map with little space to maneuver and a lot of units make it a head on clash. Not very entertaining.
