[This scenario is intended to be played with the Blitzkrieg EFII expansion pack installed] Location : 12 km SW of Shenderovka. The German troops of Gruppe Stemmerman that were encircled at Korsun have started their break-out move. In heavy fighting they have secured their jumping-off point by taking and holding Shenderovka. Now they are waiting on word from III Panzer Korps to make the final thrust and free themselves from the encirclement. Two times before the panzer divisions of the relief force have tried to break through to them and two times they stalled! This is the third attempt at freing their comrades. Ploughing through the thick mud, they are now at 14 km from Shenderovka, but things are getting grim! The Soviet 16th and 5th Guards tank corps are now both attacking the flanks of the penetration and more troops are engaged now in keeping open the corridor. Oberstleutnant Bäke with his powerfull panzerkampfgruppe is now the main strike force! On the northern end of the relief attempt Bäke's tanks have performed admirably, but time is running out!

Very pro-Allies (my opponent agreed as well). Too many EF II bunkers.
One saw the stars, full of regrets, wishing these times, and this war, had never come. The other saw the stars, and the only regret he had was that these times and this war, had not come soon enough.
