Yakhroma, 60km N of Moscow: [Best played against Human opponent] The German bridgehead on the east side of the Moskva-Volga canal was a painful irritant to the Russians. To eliminate this dangerous salient, elements of the 28th and 50th Tank Brigades of the Soviet First Shock Army swung into action. The newly-arrived sub-zero weather was as much an ally to the Russians as it was an enemy to the Germans. While the Soviets assaulted in warm winter greatcoats and felt boots, the German troops were literally freezing to death in their standard-issue uniforms and hob-nailed boots.

I think this game was balanced with Extreme assault on but my opponent wanted to restart with it off and I think this meant the game was not balanced in its original format.
Real chess game.
Took the town south of the river with some losses, took the village and then my tanks dueled across the river with the smaller Axis tanks, without a single loss of my amoured T34's and two KV-1s. I then made a final two pronged assualt with my Soviet Riflemen across both bridges across river with Tank and Mortor support. By the end I made up for my losses ealirer and wiped out thr Germans to the last man! Our losses in Rifle Platoons was about equal at ened game, but he took a lot of damage with me destroying all his equipment and tanks.
