Kustrin, Germany, 30km N of Frankfurt on the Oder: [Best played as Allied] The first news to greet the new commander of the German Army Group Vistula, General Heinrici, were reports of Soviet troop movement announcing a sudden Russian attack, aimed at cutting off the German units holding the Kustrin Bridgehead. On March 22nd, units of the 9th Panzer Regiment rushed to support the desperate Panzer Grenadiers of the 128th Regiment south of Kustrin, where they were maintaining a toe hold on the east side of the Oder River. There they were greeted by the advancing 67th Guards Heavy Tank Regiment and the 396th Guards SU Regiment from the Soviet 5th Shock Army.

Russians have to advance quickly take out bunkers or its a no go.They do have plenty of armour which should be used accordingly.

First time playing this scenario as either side; very enjoyable. Good mix of forces. Allies have a numerical advantage. Germans have long-range gunnery with Panthers, JgdPz IV/70s and Panzer IVs to their advantage.
