Best played as a team scenario with 2x2 or 3x3; can also be played h2h.This is the second scenario that was designed for the team tournament and is used to depict the Russian counter attack after the Kursk offensive. After heavy fighting the 69th infantry division has succeeded in breaching the initial German defense lines in the Duna area. The V Guards Mech Corps has been held in reserve in anticipation of exploiting any such holes created in the enemy defense. The V Guards has been given the mission of completing the breakthrough and capturing the important rail and road network in this sector. The 7th Pz Division has been ordered to respond to this crisis and preserve the lines of supply and communication for Army Group Kempf.

Very challenging scenario for both sides but well worth the effort.Recommend this for any player.Excuse the spelling.
Right down to the last turn now thats a balanced scenario.
Played as Axis/Germans. Very entertaining scenario with a lot of options for both players. The map has an extensive road network, both paved and unpaved from north-to-south and east-to-west in most locations, with objectives scattered across the entire field of play. The scenario forces both attacker and defender to quickly develop and implement a strategy for offense and defense and choose objectives/terrain to pursue or forfeit. Possible slight edge to the Axis/Germans in some respects due to the the quality and long-distance range of their armor over the Allies/Soviets. Overall, a great scenario worth playing.
An enjoyable and wide-ranging tactical battle with many possibilities.
