Leuenberg, Germany, 40km NE of Berlin: [Best played as Allied] With the weight of nearly six million Soviet troops pressing towards Berlin, Germany's leaders frantically reorganized and moved units from one hot spot to another as the situation became more desperate. Panzer Division "Clausewitz," in reality little more than a reinforced Kampfgruppe, was formed on April 4, 1945, assembled from pieces of units from every corner of what remained of the Reich. Clausewitz was ordered to make a stand around the town of Leuenberg on the outskirts of east Berlin. On April 17th, tank and motorized infantry elements of the Soviets 9th Guards Tank Corps attacked into the area. Supported by Panthers and heavy tank destroyers the determined Panzer Truppen took a serious toll of their attackers. But the recently formed panzer division also paid a heavy price in equipment and men. On April 21st what remained of the division was destroyed at Fallersleben.

Smedley
Nice scenario, a real bloodbath.
Digger
Unspeakable carnage in a confined space.
Scud
Excellent scenario. Expect a ton of casualties regardless of side.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
