Green Devils in the Snow - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

Kirovograd, 260km SSE of Kiev: [Best played as Allied] With the onset of another bitter winter came the start of a new Soviet offensive. To avoid the encirclement of the important city of Kirovograd, German paratroopers of the 2nd Fallshirmjager Division are flown into the area. As Russian units of the 114th Tank Brigade and the 233rd Guards Rifle Regiment seek to surround the city, they encounter the German "Green Devils," at Klintsy, now perfectly camouflaged in white. Supporting the paratroopers are the assault guns of the 286th SP Gun battalion.
