Hajmasker, Hungary. About 100 km SW of Budapest. [Best Played vs. Human Opponent]. With the failure of 'Spring Awakening', the German offensive to clear the Lake Balation region, the Germans once again found themselves reeling before the onslaught of a Soviet Offensive. Less than a week into the offensive five german divisions were in danger of being cut off and surrounded in the Szekesfehervar region. Desperate to save these units, the understrength and overextended 1.SS Panzer Divison 'Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler' held open the escape route along the Varpolota-Veszprem Road.
