On the road to Minsk - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

Throughout Operation Bagration the German defenders were caught in improvized positions with remnants of other units that had been cut off or isolated by the swiftness of the Russian onslaught. Occasionally a good defensive position allowed the Germans to slow down the Soviets. This is such a position. But by now the Russians had organized their vanguards into special assault groups, and when they were stopped the usual thing to do was to outflank the enemy and leave the position for the following infantry to clean up. This scenario was designed to be played by the Russians.
