August 5, 1942, late afternoon, on the German South Front, KG Von Bessler, Commanded by Oberstleutnant Von Bessler is ordered to advance towards the village of Rakovo and take the two hills ( 156, 157 ) that over look the village. The KG is formed around the 1st Spw Panzergrenadier Battalion, reinforced by Division and Corps elements. The Divisions armored Reconnaissance unit, has located enemy units belonging to the 93rd Rifle Brigade who have intrenched themselves in and around the village, with fortifications on the hills to the east. These hills must be taken! But at what cost? ( To be played as Germans only. )
