[Novgorod, 170km SSE of Leningrad]: [H2H/AXIS][HIS][TS/BB] Escobedo's 2nd Company (II/269), after repulsing several counterattacks by the Soviet 848th Rifle Regiment, has been reinforced with the remainder of Ezparza's 269th Regiment, as well as elements of Vierno's 263rd. In an attempt to expand the bridgehead, Roman's II Battalion of the 269th has been instructed to move south along the east bank of the Volkov toward Russa, and, hopefully reach Sitno and Tigoda. Led by an assault section, the attack jumps off at noon.
